I got a bottle of this beer off the single shelf from a beer store in La Crosse, Wisconsin. It poured a clear copper with thin white head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had nice bitter pine hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet bitter pine hop presence...old school IPA. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

I like this beer. It falls in between the 2 beers it replaces in their year round selection. It is not as hop forward as SPA( a session IPA). There is better balance with this beer. I will miss the other IPA though, It was more old school and piney, one of my favorites of all time.

8/29/19...12 Oz bottle in Wisconsin. It’s a very heavy Ale taste for a hoppy IPA. Somewhat nutty. Hard to gauge this brew as it has it’s own unique flavor and finish. Buy again one at a time only, not sure I could stomach a 6 pack.

A new to me beer from Point and it looks like it is new to everyone else.
From the website - The perfect American Pale Ale for everyone and every occasion. We kettle and dry hop with Cascade, Citra and Centennial hops – all on a complex bed of four malts. The result is hop-forward flavor with aromas of citrus and pine, medium body, and remarkable balance. Life is fantastic. Make it Hoptastic.
Poured into my Bass Imperial pint glass, the beer is a hazy dark bronze with an off-white head & sticky lacing that covers the glass. It is not a NEIPA hazy but there is haze….
The smell is of C hops Pine & citrus backed by some grains.
The beer is somewhat bitter with pine, citrus (grapefruit) and caramel malts. It is an amped up AP at 40 IBU, but the bitterness is well balanced. As I work through he glass, the beer gets more of a bite and it becomes slightly unbalanced but in a good way. Hint of metallic bitterness late.
The mouth is slick and tongue coating with mdi-range heft.
I like this beer. Seems strange to launch an APA now but maybe the tide is turning back to more classic beer styles.
