Pours golden amber with a creamy white head that leaves trailing lace.
The smell is of citrus and caramelized grain. Bright and pleasant.
The taste is of caramelized grain that leads to a citric, semi-dry, refreshing finish. Well-balanced with a nice hop touch in the finish.
It is super-smooth. Carbonation fits very well for the general character of the brew.
A bit more hop-forward than traditional, but it works well! A well-made, delicious, easy-to-drink, refreshing brew. Certainly "sessionable".

poured 12oz bottle into pint glass.
A- Clear amber honey hue with a 2 finger white head.Nice retention that fades into a ring and leaves some webbed lacing.
S - Sweet amber malts, some light grains with a bit of citrus and floral hops.
T - Very pleasant flavor. Starts off with some sweet amber malt, light caramel and then moves into citrus and floral hops. The bitterness is present, yet faint.
M - Light, crisp, well carbonated for the style and refreshing.
O - This is one nice Lager from Lake Louie. It has more hops that previous (older) reviews would indicate so I wonder if there is a newer recipe since it has made a return.

(Served in a strange)
A- This beer pours a crystal clear orange hue with a sticky antique white head. There is a slow carbonation of a few bubbles working to the surface.
S- The cereal and corn chip aroma has an odd lard note to the finish with some cream notes in the finish.
T- The slight buttered corn quality with some green hop finish with some pungent note lingering. Some spice hop to the hop grows as the beer warms.
M- The light mouthfeel finishes as a gentle fizz.
O- The odd aroma starts to remind me of taco shells but the taste is a bit better.

12oz bottle.
A: Clear medium-amber body under two fingers of frothy white head. Good retention, great lace. Excellent.
S: Bready malt, graham cracker, and butterscotch Slight herbal notes. Pretty weak.
T: Buttery, sweet malt dominates, with graham cracker and herbal bitterness. Bready aftertaste. Mediocre.
M: Medium body, plenty of creamy carbonation. Good.
O: This wasn't terrible, but it was below average for the style and not a particularly enjoyable beer to drink. Perhaps I got an old bottle from the mix-a-six rack at Trig's in Rhinelander, but in any case I'm in no hurry to revisit it.
Cheers!
