Remember the label and it being a really good beer but nothing else. It's been a few years since I had it.

From the 12 oz bottle in a snifter. Pours a murky orange tinged yellow with a
modest layer of white foam that settles to a thin ring, a subtle layer, and shows
scant lacing. Nose of light grapefruit and very subtle wheat. Flavors follow the
nose with a bitter grapefruit note all around with very light wheat cracker notes
trying to hold this single dimension in check. Medium light mouth feel, light
carbonation, and a bitter finish.
Not my cup of ale....needs refinement which is something I would expect
from a brewer of a very solid hefeweizen.
Cheers

Cloudy amber colored ale with a medium sized white colored head. Very high carbonation level lots of bubbles sticking to the glass.
Smells of wheat crackers and grapefruit. That said this isn't that aromatic.
Starts out mild and slightly bitter. Tastes of toasted wheat. Grapefruit rind but not any juice. Seems that the grapefruit adds to the bitterness. That said it is kind of watery.
Mouthfeel is watery.
Well this beer is a dud. Widmer does make better beer than this one.

12oz bottle to SA Perfect Pint.
A: Pours a hazy straw color with a quickly-receding soapy white head.
S: Some grapefruit upfront and a citrus component as well as wheat, grains, and general fruitiness.
T: Grapefruit bitterness and more citrus fruit flavor, toasted breadiness and wheat, with a moderately dry finish.
MF: Light body with a decently dry finish.
O: This is definitely still a Wheat Beer, not a fruit beer as listed here. The grapefruit flavors come through but the base beer remains the biggest component of this one. An OK beer but I was looking for more grapefruit character.
