Light amber with an element of pink colour, practically no head. Aroma of fruits, berries that dies away quickly after opening (bottle). Taste is mildly sweet and spicy, easy bitterness finishes, soft on the palate. The subtlety of the spices and honey is nicely balanced with a thin and watery finish with a bit of a carbonated snap. Pleasant and not too sickly.

Crystal clear brass. White head with poor retention. Aroma is mostly clove, cinnamon, honey, and toast – the more I smell it the more it reminds me of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. This is no bad thing, no bad thing at all. Tastes soft and sweet like honeyed bread, but with a pleasantly dry finish. The spices aren't 'spicy,' if that makes sense, but they are pleasantly aromatic – especially cinnamon and clove, wedded neatly to a pinch of leafy hops. I can imagine this would be a lovely winter warmer. In fact, I almost want to drink it hot. Almost. This is, essentially, a pleasant and balanced ESB with just enough spice to make it more interesting than most.

Have had this one twice now, once on cask from a pub in Southwark, and picked up a bottle at Whole Foods.
It has a very pleasant aroma, sweet and a little spicy. The taste follows the smell, with a nice malty sweetness at first, followed by some spices. Ginger and Pepper maybe? Smooth mouthfeel. Very solid offering, will be picking up more.

Tastes a bit like cold mulled cider
