Farmer Walloon is a traditional farmhouse Saison, a beer style originating from the region of Wallonia in southern Belgium. Brewed with a unique Saison yeast, sweet malt and fruit flavours are balanced with a peppery spiciness and a dry, crisp bitter finish.

Pint on cask in a Cardiff pub.
Pours a sludgy yellow colour which eventually clears up into a mid golden colour with a white head.
Smells fairly peppery and fresh.
Tastes well balanced and light, nice hop presence - peppery and fruity, with a good, solid malt backbone.
Overall a really satisfying beer. Maybe not a brilliant example for the style but simple and amazingly refreshing on a hot day.
