This one pours a dark reddish-purple-brown, with a small head, and no lacing.
Smells like raisin, prune, sweet bourbon, and peat.
This has a super strong bourbon soaked prune taste. The base scotch ale, Silly, or whatever it is, it super super fruity, dark fruit, and prune and raisin and dried cherry, and it taste like these fruits have been soaking for a very long time in bourbon. There's some slight caramel, and oak, but I wish the malt character was a bit more complex other than dark fruit.
This is light bodied, a little syrupy, with a lower level of carbonation.
This isn't bad, but lacks complexity and balance.

A lighter brown with some ruby tints. It has a thick ring of light tan head that leaves some spots of lacing. The aroma is rich, dark fruits, vanilla, and a hint of spice. The taste is an amplified version of the aroma. The body is smooth and not too heavy or slick.
