Ok, but nothing special. Sweet with a finish that reminds me of wine. In defense this may have been consumed after its expiration date.

Aromas of bread (it looks like he is grilled) and cinnamon sweet very pleasant. The first mouth is incredibly flat, just raised by some spicy notes. The more you taste, the more piquant side grows, but without a final win. The finish is rather weak in flavor.
According to me, it's not a Pale Ale but an Amber Ale, such as, for example, Gauloise ambrée, Ramée Ambrée and so more.

The beer is dark amber with a small head. Very little visible carbonation.
Smell is deep malty and biscuity and full of dark caramel malts that give the beer a woody and sweet raisiny smell.
Taste is sweet and very malty. A deep maltiness. Notes of raisins and dark sweet malt. A bit woody, without any sharp edge. No bitterness. Mouthfeel is a bit too sweet and syrupy, and I can only drink one of these.

Brown 25cl bottle, best before 11th Jan 2008, drank July 2007.
Poured into a Brugse, Straffe Hendrik chalise glass.
Good redish brown, light mahogany colour, a little dull really, the head dissappeared almost straight away.
Not a lot of aroma in my bottle, a bit of sweet biscuits but not much else.
The taste isn't any great shakes, a watery, fizzy, malty, sweet and sour fruit mix, which doesn't float my boat at all.
The mouthfeel is very poor, watery and flavourless.
This is another beer from Silly I have been unimpressed with.

Cherry color, reddish. Evanescent foam.
Sweetish smell, with red berry fruit, and cherries. Hint of aromatic herbs, something like musk. Light biscuit malt?
At the taste cherry and sour black cherry. The notes of the smell are less evident. Green wodd. Green tea, and a light astringency, something like leetchee.
In the aftertaste again green wood and musk, and the astringency, too. It can remember medlar, too. After a while, something bitter.
Quite light body.
Strange at the first impact, then it results a intriguing beer. For sure, it's original.
