Definite chocolate aroma comes through, pours small brownish head, body dark brown with hint of redness. Flavours of chocolate and amaretto are clear, only slight hint of mocha although I found this quite a nice drink. Novelty drink but quite pleasant for a change.

A well bodied beer which is let down by an overbearing and imbalanced amaretto flavor and smell.

330 ml bottle B and M stores, Bristol. Pours dark brown with a medium tan foamy head. Medium carboantion. Smell - strong almonds and blakc cherries. Taste - same as the smell with a dry bitter finish. Dessert and coffee in one.

Cola coloured body huge creme caramel coloured body that halves but stays
Good quality chocolate aroma with buttery shortbread and caffe latte
The coffee & chocolate is bulldozed by cherry & almond that is artificial & terrible and almost aspirin tasting
thin & overly fizzy

330 ml bottle with a BB date 13 months from now.
Consumed in Largoward, Fife.
Very dark red-brown body with a moderate size but very durable head that leaves sticky lacing on the glass.
The aroma suggests too much amaretto, and the taste bears this out. In fact, the aftertaste. is largely just amaretto.

330ml bottle, poured into Kasteel chalice.
A: Very Dark ruby, almost opaque, no real head or lacing to speak of.
S: Very pronounced marzipan, amaretto.
T: Followed the nose, added some cinnamon and slight cherry candy, overdid the
sweetness, found it sickly and cloying towards the end.
M: Smooth, thick texture, no carbonation to speak of.
O: Was it even beer? I was takenback to my slightly misspent youth when
alcopops were my choice of drink on a night out. Not for me.

Not enough 'real' beer taste for me. Too much amaretto. I would regard this as a fruit beer.

Pretty sure that this beer is different from the Mocha beer already on BA - it has a different label and the almond odour is very strong, don't think that is a feature of Mocha.
Anyway, served cool from 330ml bottle bought from Morrisons supermarket into my trusty Cheers American pint glass (not everything is bigger and better in America!)
A) Dark ruby clear brown. Thin film on top. Not amazing.
S) Wow. Marzipan. No beer. Hmm good job I like marzipan.
T) Well balanced, at first you get marzipan and amoretto biscuit, but it is quickly followed by an actual beer flavour, a fairly flat malty fruity strong English bitter. The combination works and I like it. The acidity of the carbonation is the balance to the sweet flavouring, as opposed to the use of hops. Further balance is given by a warm alcohol undercurrent.
M) Light and nice subtle carbonation. A long aftertaste, but not unpleasant.
O) I have had 3 Batemans 'flavoured' beers tonight - this ranks in the middle between Orange Barley (worst) and Hazelnut Brownie (best). If you like flavoured beers and stouts, you will like this one. If you like clean, pure beer flavour, this is your worst nightmare come true!
