A: poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass, pink with a short white foamy head that dissipates leaving little lacing, cloudy
S: raspberry, sour, vinegar, some slight funk, more raspberry
T: sour and slightly salty, big kick of tart raspberry towards middle, lemon hop finish with continuing sour reminiscent of a warhead candy but less potent
M: thin with little body
O: It isn't as complex as a fruit lambic, but along the same lines.

BOD 5/5/17. Pours a lovely hazy coral color. Normal head volume, lacing and retention.
Borderline outstanding nose of slightly sweet tart raspberry. Underneath is a biscuit base that is also slightly bready. The raspberry element is a bit subtle but is prominent enough to take center stage.
Heavy light body that is quite smooth that also has a very subtle tickle of oiliness. The carbonation / body balance is world class. The middle explodes with an effervescent rush that highlights the tart raspberry and tickles the tongue. The finish is finely bubbled and rollicking yet is not as intense as the middle. It lets the massive middle explosion slowly fade away softly.
The flavor profile is outstanding. It isn't complex, but it delivers a balanced tart raspberry kick in the taste buds. It begins with a soft touch of raspberry that just ramps up. The middle brings a soft contrasting sweetness that is underneath. Hop bitterness is subtle and brief. Raspberries have an attendant bitterness and this is the bitterness driver. As the effervescence of the middle arrives, it carries with it a rousing tartness that kicks raspberry into overdrive. This is the flavor apex. The rest is just a slow fade into the finish. After which, a slightly tart and bitter raspberry lingers.

On tap, drunk outside on a muggy summer afternoon.
Fox hunter jacket pink, striking looking with a finger of white head.
Strong raspberry aroma, lesser yeasty notes.
Taste is a subdued raspberry, mildly tart, vinegar, bread.
Crisp dry finish, medium body. Appropriately aqueous for the style.
Emphasis is on refreshment, thirst slaking rather than exploring the fruit.
