Pours a clear very light copper color or maybe a golden copper blend, sports a nice big fluffy off white head that slowly falls and laces nicely.
Aroma is tropical fruitiness, malts light alcohol notes floral and light herbal notes for a big IPA kind of mellow on the nose part but good.
Taste is more hoppy then the nose a good strong malty base with some alcohol punch but not in a bad way seems to be the backbone. Hops are more resin like then the nose light tropical fruit hints are washed away by pine like bitterness but its not big scarp your tongue like bitterness. Almost more like a boozy barley wine. Not sure what is going on really but it is a tasty beer even if its not a big in your face hop bomb.
Mouthfeel is big medium with fairly mellow carbonation.
Overall I like it a little different then I was expecting but a good beer non the less.

Bottle from Tavour -- marked as "Filled 8/22/17." Pours a light gold, with minimal head and bubbles. Slightly froth which quickly dissipates. Aroma is citrus, a bit of malt, not overpowering at all. Certain sharp spice which isn't quite expected. Might be the hops.
Taste is pine, citrus, , "bright" as user @snaotheus says below, bitter is there but low and slow, rather than a "hey I'm an IPA" punch like others. Hops and earth in nice balance within a rather apparent 10.5% ABV soup. Warm going down, boozy but no real alcohol heat or burn, and therefore quite easy drinking for a 10.5. But I'm feeling it after one.
Nice finish. Not nearly as astringent as other "triple" IPAs I've had, which often seem to be a wickersham of tastes, hops, etc. to keep all the balls in the air without any going off the rails. I'm most impressed by the lack of bitter bite and how juicy this feels although the citrus doesn't overpower either. Quite good.

12oz bottle served in a tulip. Filled 8/22/17. Given to me by @mr-jj.
Pours mostly clear golden amber with a smallish head and not much carbonation. Smell is surprisingly mild. I get some vague tropical fruitiness, some vague floral. That's about it. Not bad, but not impressive.
Taste is much brighter. Much more citrus character, much stronger juicy characteristic, quite noticeable alcohol, bitter finish.
Mouthfeel is very dry and resinous. Overall, good beer.

This is an extremely well-crafted IIPA! Hop resin goodness wrapped in a tropical necter that is the best thing I've had from Highland! Almost passed on this as I've never been real impressed with their other brews (IPA-wise anyway)...Pow however, is amazing!!! Please make this a regular addition!!!

If you love a good, solid, hoppy IPA then this is your beer.
My only regret is that I ordered just one of these from Tavour. I want more!

Sticky, bitter and deeply resinous, the brewery that often shows restraint in beer making emerges from the phone booth with an aggressive, powerful and complex punch of hops.
Highland Brewing goes all Pow! with a full, bright and hoppy aromatic display; one filled with sharp citrus, herb and berry and back note of biscuit to support the botanical potpourri. Light copper and burnt orange, the hazy beer draws in the first taste with a promise of early caramel, honey and pound cake malt character.
As the sweetness gently lifts, the full brunt of hops are experienced. Pink grapefruit and the peels of both orange and lemon tease the middle palate while a twinge of red berries and apricot offer an exotic tartness and a robust stone fruit flavor. Finishing piney, grassy and dryly of hemp, the lupulin powder stews in the retro olfactory senses once more.
Medium bodied and retaining a soft undercurrent of malt, the imperial IPA's finale embarks upon the gullet gripping bitterness of torn pine needles, fresh grass clippings and a peppery, lightly soapy after palate, and a linger of fruit peels.
