A lot of raspberry taste but still had that beer flavor. A hint of sweetness and bitterness with a wonderful fragrance made it pretty pleasant. Surprisingly heavy afterwards.

Very sweet, not very enjoyable. I could not finish the glass.

I love Marin Brewing, but this is not their finest work. It is still delicious and light, but it is more of a beer for non-beer drinkers. My bottle ran a bit flat, and the raspberry was a hint artificial. Delicious to be sure, but lacking complexity or finesse. I wold live to try it as a shandy or as a floater in top of a stout.

From notes.
Pale straw, fizzy head.
Sweet, grains, Herbert, only really a hint of raspberry.
Sweet, with a zesty hint of sour to balance. More raspberry on palate than nose, but that is not saying much. Candy flavours mostly. Refreshing tho.
Lively, light, zesty.
Nice summer quencher, but somewhat all fizz and no substance.

Some foam-up at first, but the head doesn't last well. Quite prickly on the tongue. Hazy light yellow color in the big tulip. Thin, sharp, sets the teeth on edge after some sipping. Faint beery aroma.
The rather nasty fruity taste is right up front, followed by a quite unpleasant bitter rasp. The fruit tastes like something in a popsicle. Actually it's exactly like generic red jello made with pineapple juice that sat too long opened in the can. I keep trying to taste this stuff, I am surprised I have so little left to pour out. Aftertaste is nearly medicinal and doesn't want to leave.
This is a surprise, since I thought the Peach version was really decent. From the 22 oz bottle bought at Total Wine in Huntington Beach.
