500ml bottle served in a footed pilsner glass. 2022 vintage. Received from @Coronaeus in a LIF associated with NBS BIF #14.
Pours dark toffee color with a medium sized head that collapses to a couple millimeter thick creamy-looking layer. Smell is richly chocolatey, cocoa powder. Maybe a little bit of roastiness and toffee. A little boozy, probably some vanilla.
Taste is still lots of cocoa, more toffee sweetness, and nuts. Maybe some dates or something? Figs?
Mouthfeel is surprisingly soft, fluffy almost. Very nice.
