My pick of this brewpub's offerings. This was the one beer where sufficient hopping was employed to round out the beer. Poured an amber/tan with nice lace as the beer went down. Some slight caramel in the malt, with some cracker and grain flavors as well. Hopping was sufficient, but not generous, and the hops had just the barest touch of floral. Serving temp. was a bit off - if the beer was a little more crisp, colder would have been nice, or if a little more fruity, warmer would have been good. Overall, a pretty serviceable ESB.
