Tried on tap at the brewery during a recent trip. This is the 'X' version of their regular Golden Ale.

Pours a bright and pleasant deep golden colour, with a filmy and unimpressive head of large bubbled foam. Not great.

Slight peach hop aroma, very mild for something claiming to have a strong hop aroma. Hint of vanilla and grit. Not all that great but not that bad.

Clean flavour, crisp on the front, with a pleasant lingering bitterness. Little harshness, not terribly complex, but clean enough.

Clean, crisp and drinkable. Can get a bit samey and dull after a while, but probably one of the most drinkable of the range.
