thanks to my GF for bringing this back from Singapore
Bomber poured into a tulip
Called it an American Porter since the brewer is American
A-- Poured a dark brown and settled a lighter shade of black. Lots of ruby showing at the top of the beer. Nice, one finger, light brown head. Good head retention and lots of lacing through drinking. Settled at a collar through drinking.
S-- Semi sweet, dark baking chocolate. Real good nose. but very straight forward smell. Chocolate and roast. Not much else.
T-- Once again a lot of chocolate and roast. Bits of carmel and mocha but very straight forward taste.
M-- Slightly thin and watery. Chocolate and roast cover a lot of gaps in the beer. Very chocolate dry finish. Lots of coco powder I am assuming.
O-- Not bad even with the watery gaps. Easy to drink and quite enjoyable for what it was. In all honesty it was better than some imperial stuff I had this evening and far better balanced.
