Flavors of roasted malt and hint of nuttiness will explode on your palate. This full bodied beer is given a small dose of hops to balance out the flavor profiles that make this a wonderful beer to pair with multiple foods.

On tap at the brewery in Singapore. A dark brown color with a thin head and moderate carbonation.

Smell of roast and black and sesame seed tea. There is a tannic smell, if ever that exists. It smells like the teabag has been in the water too long. I get a light cittus and earthy hops.

The taste is lightly roasted with the main taste of chocolate malt. The hops add an above average bitterness which is not excesively high but lingering. The hoparoma is reserved but in style for this beer. The mouthfeel is good. The aftertaste is long, bitter and roasted. I like this beer which despite the location, is very American.
