deep amber color, very beautiful ale. is similar to killians but with much more prominant hops taste. this has a similar 'bite' as some of the other rocky run ales. goes great with meals, remains consistent throughout. not an outstanding ale but worth trying

This was another sample tasted on the sample tray. Touted as being a Canadian Ale, this was a nice straight forward amber ale and a good one at that. It poured a nice red color with a tight pinkish head. The nose was primarily malt accented with some yeast in bacjground. Flavor is sweet malty with a nice hop balance. Body is nice and the finish and aftertaste are smooth. Good Stuff.

A slightly hazy deep amber/copper body is topped by a short head of frothy white foam that receeds shortly leaving just a wide collar and some spotty lace in its wake. The nose is a bit restrained, but it offers some mildly caramelish//toffeeish malt. It's medium bodied with a fine-bubbled carbonation that leaves it lightly crisp in the mouth. The maltiness really comes through in the flavor with a distinctly toasty and caramelized side that's backed by subtle floral and citrusy hops. It's balanced by a frim bitterness, and this just might be Rocky Run's best balanced beer! enjoyable!
