Rye Saison with peppercorn
Hazy copper orange colour, one finger of white head, lots of lace on the glass. Smell is quite spicy, pepper and rye malt, still fairly yeasty, some fruity scents, some citrusy notes present as well, notes of tea started showing up as this warmed a little. Taste is yeasty with lots of spice up front, nice rye/malty kick as well, towards the finish some floral and perfume flavours come across and lead to more peppercorn and spice in the finish and aftertaste. Light-Med feel, lightish carbonation, mouthfeel is a little quick that left me wanting a little more. This was quite solid, the last few saison's from House Ales have been quite impressive, hope to see this or some variation of this again at some point.
