Brewed with raspberries and black currants. On tap at Volo.
Beer is deep purple in colour, a very nice hue. Basically no head. Some lacing.
Big juicy beery scent. Cherry, blackberry, blackcurrant. Smells very real, no hint of artificiality as I often find fruit infused beers have. Nice.
Blackcurrant, dark cherry and blackberry in the taste. Lots of fruit, but not sweet. Actually quite a dry beer. Some yeast. Nice flavour, not overly complex. I have not had the base beer on its own but the fruit really dominates.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. A bit astringent.
Overall, unusual and fairly tasty.
