Kvassica
Efes Vitanta Moldova Brewery - Chisinau Bere

First time trying a kvass, though it isn't a Russian one.
Very dark ruby pour, a small tan lacing that lasts.
Smell of dark bread, some clear spicy rye especially, faint woodiness, burnt sugar, faint dark fruit.
Taste is full of sweet glucose/fructose syrup, cloying and covering most of the rye malty character. It does hint of a bit of fruit, but not much, some faint berries maybe. There's also a bit of a cardboard note in there.
Light, fizzy.
Hard to rate this, given the fact that it's my first and not an "original" one. Like mineral water, with a tiny bit of rye and lots of sugar syrup, non-alcoholic. Nothing good.
