Dark brown, modest head that fizzes away quickly. Raisin-forward, I would say more English-style than American. Strong oxidation, lightly astringent, and little taste on the immediate front palate, almost as if diluted.

22oz bottle served in a large snifter. Don't see a date on the bottle. Bought it at the brewery a few weeks ago.

Pours dark, almost black, with a smallish head and little carbonation. Smell is raisins or dates, almost nothing else. Some booze.

Taste is again, strong raisins, maybe interpretable as dates and/or plums.

Mouthfeel is kind of flat and dry. Overall, not bad, but not impressive.

A:Poured a deep chestnutt color with good carbonation leaving a small tannish cap and small ring of bubbles

S: Some dark fruits, light booze but faint

T: Immediate presence of dark fruits(riasins, figs) lightly oxidized with the lingering taste of cardboard, lightly caramelized sugar, light booze sting

M: Flat, thin and the oxidation of this beer only kills what good taste could have been from the dark fruits.

O: Avoid
