Hand pulled pint in the excellent Cock Hotel, Wellington, Shropshire.
Orangey pale hue to the amber body, on top a thin white head that refused to leave any lacing and became just a wisp after two sips.
The smells were of semi-sour grapefruits, with some sugar cane esters for good measure.
The taste also had the grapefruit citrusy feel to it, not so much sugar as the smell though: a slightly bitter aftertaste (hops?) took away the sourness of the grapefruit but didn't detract from the overall flavours enough to ruin the beer in any way.
Different, but not really exciting enough for me to have two.
