First had: on tap at their brewpub
Doubtful that this beer is retired. I've had it at least once in the past couple years. Poured a nice amber color with a finger or so of white head. Aroma of sweet malts, woody, with some balancing hoppiness. Nice taste, simple and to the point, bready, woody, almost oaken, caramel malts, a slight fruity aspect, and just enough hops for balance. Medium-bodied and nicely drinkable.

Served a deep bright amber with a short white head. The hops do not play as big a part as I would have liked. Nice sweet hunking malty flavor is almost balanced, but not quite. The hops do come through in the finish which leaves you well primed for another sip. This beer is close to being very good, but still needs some tweeking in my opinion.
