On tap at the brewery. This is an APA with orange peels and lactose.
A: Pours hazy dark yellow/light orange with a good amount of pure white head. Some lacing.
S: You do get the oranges and the lactose in it. You also can smell the citrusy hops and the malty backbone. Doesn't feels THAT different though.
T: Well, just like the smell, this isn't THAT different from a regular APA. You get biscuit like malts and some honey with citrusy and piny hoppiness with a light touch of grassiness as well as the lactose and orange peels, but they don't fit that well with the rest of the recipe. It doesn't fall apart per se, but it's not improving on the rest of the brew.
M: Light body with stingy carbonation.
D: This is quite drinkable but you might get tired of the orange peel tastes with time. Still, solid.
