The beer is a medium orangey amber, topped with the barest hint of misting. Just a vague swirl sitting in the middle, forming into a weak ring eventually, and dying out completely after a few sips.
The aroma is hugely spiced. Loads of cinnamon, almost like a fireball candy, with a bit of ginger, nutmeg and orange peel. The spice completely dominates, with only a touch of suffocated caramel malt gasping for air.
The flavor starts with a moderate caramel malty sweetness, quickly evaporating into a spiced concoction. Sweet orange peel immediately dominates, almost cancelling out any and all beer flavor. Some cinnamon rides the orange's coattails, picking up a pinch of nutmeg and ginger along the way. A hint of coriander spiciness creeps through in the finish, adding just a little bitterness to keep everything more or less palatable. The finish is a wash of spice, with more of the same in the aftertaste. Relatively smooth, with decent, small bubbled carbonation. Medium to light bodied.
I doubt this beer is geared towards beer geeks at all. I can imagine it would be considered cute to a miller lite girl, or what have you. Not nearly as bad as some spiced christmas/holiday beers I've tried, but not all that far off, either.
