Served in a 12oz snifter. Pours a dark blonde color with a one-finger head.
Aroma is full of orange peel with a bit of pepper in the nose.
Taste is full of citrus, pepper and spice. Definitely hot as the description says. Just a bit of alcohol shows through.
Mouthfeel is hot with pepper, alcohol and lingering orange peel. Coats the stomach.
A sipper and one well worth a try. A hell of a beer that shows vpb's craftmanship and willingness to experiment.

On tap at Vermont Pub & Brewery.
Yellow-golden color with a thin white head on top. Not much to look at. Very lite for a trippel. Tastes not so great, alas. A very week attempt at at "strong belgian" style. Worth a taste only if you're on a mission to try every beer in town.

A thin, creamy white head that faded almost pretty much at the same time the waiter placed it on the table. Some condensed and spotted lacing with average strength. Pale straw in color; very clear and dull.
Aromatics were almost non-existant besides some hints of orange, lemon, and pepper.
This is a tripel? I could've sworn the waiter brought me a hefeweizen or a wit, even after I took four sips of this one. Very light with some mild citrus flavors: orange, lemon, even bubblegum. A very watery, malt base that isn't too descriptive. Finishes astringent and chlorine-like.
Very light on the palate. Feels like a light pale on the palate. Nothing obtrusive, but nothing that resembles a tripel in terms of mouthfeel.
Probably the lightest version of the style I've ever had, which isn't really a good thing. Stear clear of this one and order something else.

Blonde coloured, hazy, thin ring lace. Fruity nose, with an odd hint of toothpaste. Bitter, musty, spicy, alcoholic, caramel, leafy with a fruity bubble-gum background. Hop bitterness is evident and a bit tea-ish, but comes across as being unbalanced, out of place.
Mediocre attempt at the style.
