On tap the brewpub.
The appearance was a black color with a wisp of a little off white foamy head that slid off fairly quick.
The aroma had that "iced" coffee sort of unyielding sweetness up front with a nice portioned roastiness and a slight bitter coffee grounds coming in faintly. Vanilla seemed more like extract than the beans, but did come across pretty nice.
The flavor leaned towards the sweetness of the "iced coffee" and added a little bit of milk chocolate then the vanilla bean. Just a tickle of the iced coffee and vanilla in the aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was just a hair below medium bodied with a pretty good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt a bit low, but not cumbersome, it felt good. ABV felt nice and low, acceptable. Smooth "iced coffee" sort of finish.
Overalll, pretty nice milk/sweet stout that I could come back to. Definitely does the trick what Vermont Pub wanted to do.
