This beer is part of the experimental series of beers. A very spicy ale obviously brewed in honor of the Jazz Festival in town.
Pours a dark, deep burgundy color with brown head. Nothing much sticks out here.
Grainy, sweet and reminscent of a dubbel or spiced beer. Of course, in texture only.
Taste is very peppery with grainy malt. Easygoing with lots of flavor.
Mouthfeel has lingering pepper notes. Goes down well.
Possibly a chile beer as well but there was not much information posted as to style, etc. A decent ale regardless.
