March 2005- On tap at the Toronado in San Francisco, CA
Presentation- Common pint glass filled from the tap.
Appearance- Orange-yellowish pour with a nice 1/2 head and fair lacing.
Smell- Typical run of the mill prototype IPA. Good amount of sharp fruit and nice amount of pine.
Taste- Hmmmm, not feeling it in this one. Very dull and bland. Not bad, but just doesn't catch my attention. Hops and grapefruit tastes are there, but they don't reach out and grab you.
Mouthfeel- Kinda on the watery side.
Drinkability- Expected a bit more from this one considering it was from RR. Still not bad, but then again, nothing remotely spectacular either.

Appearance This IPA poured a crystal clear orange in color with a decent head.
Smell The big pine and citrus notes came out at once. The malts were fairly laid back and light.
Taste There was some good citrusy notes here, but the raw pine sap is what got my attention. It was big and jumped all over the grain that was trying to balance the beer but with little luck. Im also picking up some light nutty flavors as well.
Mouthfeel This AIPA isnt quite medium-bodied. I thought it lacked the depth that was promised from the big hoppy flavors.
Drinkability This was an easy-drinker that went down like water, which is both good and bad for the style.
