This is a mix of the ESB and OVL Stout. I'm going to pretend I don't know that and review it as its own beer.
This came as a great deep, dark brown with a nice big head. The head faded slowly and left a good amount of lace. The smell is exclusively of hops. Up front, the taste is somewhat lacking in flavor. It kicks in later and finishes strong, with hops leading the way. The malt content is fairly lacking. The mouthfeel is somewhat thin while the drinkability is pretty good.
