Nearly clear, light straw color. Light allspice/coriander taste, with light toast malt aroma and a bit of a lemon twist. A slight hefeweizen type flavor at first then some of that essence of allspice/coriander, with brightness, a firm bite that develops later in the taste and has a bit of a lemon/pine note.

This is a disappointing ale in that it is way too acidic to enjoy. It leaves a harsh aftertaste that is stinging to the throat and unpleasant in the taste.

10oz snifter at THG.

A: Slightly hazy lemon yellow with a soft and fluffy white head faded into a thin lasting film. Thin but sticky sheet of lace left down the glass.
S: Spicy, leafy, and estery nose with notes of Belgian yeast, crackery grains, and spicy/grassy hops.
T: Light grainy malt backbone, peppery spice, subtle bubblegum/sweet fruit esters, grassy hops, and a kiss of citrus. Leafy and spicy with a strong Belgian yeast presence. Subtle tea flavor. Bready notes poke through the spicy and bitter aftertaste. light mineral in the finish, aspirin and green hop bitterness in the aftertaste.
M: Crisp light body with fluffy and soft carbonation and a solid peppery and earthy bitterness. Chewy mouthfeel, thick carbonation and a solid bitterness that lingers forever.
O: A very solid Belgian blonde. Tons of spice and easy to drink with a very solid bitterness.
