Thanks, Trey!

A mildly hazy orange yellow with a dense white head with excellent retention and lacing. The nose is very fruity and juicy with citrus, peach, melon tropical fruit, papaya and a firm undercurrent of bitterness. Very clean hop profile. The malt is minimal and is lightly toasty/ bread like. The palate opens clean and fruity, bright, jammy, juicy - peach, papaya, citrus, tropical fruit, melon- just loads of fruit. A clean bitterness up front as well. The mid-palate has clean, fruity, and softly malty. Clean, fruity, bitter finish. Creamy mouthfeel.

In full support of the Ukrainian efforts in their defense against Russian forces, Russian River brews an IPA that's sure to leave a bitter taste in your mouth.

Defestratsiya doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, but it does roll onto the nose with a fruity display of citrus, tropical and vinous fruits with an herbal pine scent. Hints of caramel, honey and pastry hit the tongue with a generous and creamy malt sweetness in a nearly hazy level of intensity.

As the malts sway in their focus, the hops build upon with a basic fruitiness of grapefruit and dried orange peel for a racy and refreshing middle palate. Trending herbal with peppery pine resins, white wine and fresh grass clippings and the session nears its end, closing with a firm but smooth bitterness.

Medium bodied and trending lighter, the beer has hazy influences but keeps with a more bitter and drier body to keep the session lighter, drier and refreshing. An extension of herbal vegetation leads to a slightly astringent grassiness deeper and deeper into finish we go.

16oz can. Pale straw colored pour, mild haze, one finger fluffy white head. Light citrusy, fruity aroma. Taste is sublime, soft malty flavors, gentle fruity notes. Don't be fooled by the subdued qualities though, as it is very full bodied, smooth, creamy. Nice job!

Can pour- slightly hazy golden honey color with short white head leaving scattered frosty lacing. Nose is lots of tropical and citrus. Taste follows with a mild hop bite that lingers a bit on the finish. A great beer for a great cause.
