Can pour- dark as night with khaki head leaving frosty lacing. Nose is roasty malt with hints of bitter coffee. Taste follows more or less with a lingering bitterness on the finish.

Thanks, Trey.
Black with dark brown highlights and a dense, brown head with good retention and lacing. The nose is gorgeously roasty with a blend of toasted wheat bread, caramel, cocoa, coffee and milk chocolate. A great expression of balance. The palate opens with a blend of roast, caramel, milk chocolate and bitter coffee. Dark wheat bread, heavily toasted, is present. The mid palate has a soft, creamy sweetness with milk chocolate notes. Drying, mildly sweet on the finish. Lovely mouthfeel. Excellent stuff.

16oz can, last of the set. Dark brown pour, thin beige head. Roasty aroma, coffee, chocolate. Taste is dark roasted malts, light bitterness, notes of coffee and chocolate. Simple Porter from simpler times.
