It’s not as bad as the rating would suggest - but since it’s a japanese beer (and the japanese are suckers for sweetness) this is a bit too sweet. The smell reminds me of the good Czech lezáks (which is good) and you somehow get used to the sweetness and it becomes acceptable, but still it’s on the too sweet side - at least for me.
