Poured a pitch black color with 1-to-2 fingers of tan head when I got it. Good amount of layered lacing on the sides of the glass. Average retention. (Sight - 4.00)
Smelled dark coffee, milky notes, caramel, toffee, bitter coffee beans and vanilla beans. (Smell - 4.50)
Taste follows the nose nicely. Espresso, vanilla, caramel, mocha, toffee, dark coffee malts, dark chocolate, vanilla, earthy malts and roasted malts. (Taste - 4.00)
Full body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, bitter finish. (Feel - 4.00)
Very good beer. Great for dessert. (Overall - 4.00)
