Brickhouse Red draft at the brewpub in Patchogue in fall, 2022. Malty amber ale with low hoppiness. Thirstquenching and recommended. The moderate alcohol content is a plus for me.

Ah, this brings back memories. I enjoyed this back in 1995 listening to cover bands at the Brickhouse. This is their iconic beer and it does hold up well today.
Perfect pour of amber color with some clingy lacing. Scents of bready malt hit the nose. Nice refreshing malt flavor with a raspy zing of earthy hops. Some grassy notes are present. Very drinkable amber and a nod to the Long Island craft beer scene from the 90's. Certainly not going to wow you, but you'd never be disappointed with the BrickHouse Red.

Poured a dark amber hue with a half finger foamy white head. There was decent retention and lacing.
The smell featured a dry toasted caramel malt with a grassy hop.
The taste consisted of the same dry maltiness with a cleansing herbal hop.
The mouthfeel was clean with a dry finish.
Overall a tasty dry amber ale. Very quaffable.

I've had this a few times at Brickhouse. It's a nice solid lager. Pours a dark red with a foamy head and slight lacing. Smell is deep with little hints of fruit. Taste is slightly sweet wiht a kick. Goes down smooth. Not Brickhouse's best, but solid--good beer to have in the summer or fall.

Had this at my first visit to the Brick House.
Pours a nice dark red, translucent. Nice foamy head along with some light lacing. Smells of light breads and florals. Taste starts off light and slightly sweet and quickly evolves with a good balance of hops. The body is a bit overly light, but the flavors are there. Would like a little more maltiness, but was my favorite out of the first round beers at Brick House.
