BEAUTIFUL looking beer. Kind of the color of grapefruit and pink lemonade mixed together. Very nice to look at.
Aromas are sour yeast, soda, lemon, and other hard to distinguish citrus.
Flavor was bright and tart, although a little more winey than beer-like. Reminded me of club soda pour into grapefruit and wine, with a hint of berliner.
I enjoyed this and thought it was better than most reviewers are giving it credit for.

L: pretty peachy gold, thin head
S: delicate, thin, some lactic
T: delicate, tart, white wine, light oakiness, white peach nectar. Very little linger.
F: light, thin
O: a nice effort and unquestionably to style, delicate, just a bit too thin. Happy to have tried it.

After opening, didn't get anything resembling cherries, but the wine barrel oak was very mildly present. The flavor was very light, and I actually thought it vaguely resembled a pilsner for a moment, and only on the finish did any slight lingering tanginess come through. Slightly musty end; overall, a disappointing beer.
