Oh, I really wanted to like this one... especially because I was drinking it at the table next to one of the Beach Chalet brewers...
A)Excellent. The colour of redwood or dark amber, little to no head, but lacy. Looks like the perfect ESB.
S) Loverly fruit esters, nice
T)Not as bitter as I expected. Kinda mellow. Lacking in complexity. please more bitter, pretty please?
M)a bit thin
D)I could drink it again, no problem, I'd just have to pretend that it was a different style.

Had it at this refurbished S.F. landmark, which is now a brewpub restaurant. I was ultra impressed that this ale was served cask conditioned, at cellar temperature, and in a traditional British pint glass! from the moment the bartender "pulled" me the pint, I knew I was in for something good. A very nice ale done right. I will go back.
