Probably modelled after one of the classic West Coast APAs, this has the citrus hop brightness and Carmel malt depth and some lingering pine cut by lemon. Looks and Feel are only slightly above average. Smells and Tastes balance the hops and malt. Good Overall Hugs are more for the Beach Chalet's siting and interior than the beers... but both were enjoyed, just not as much.

This currently out of production product was one of the Chalet's flagship pale ales in the earlier years. A west coast style, it was crisp, and hoppy from the more limited array of hops then available. More notable is the label art of Playland at the Beach in a red, white and black modernist tribute.
