On tap at Beach Chalet on 7/14/09.
A - Pale golden, sparsely carbonated with small head of white foam that settled into a thin ring but left some nice thick lace around the glass.
S - Sweet, fruity apricot dominates the aroma. Not much else going on, save for some sweet caramel malt.
T - Sweet apricot that builds up into a mildly tart finish. Some subtle citrus and floral hop bitterness also appears. Malt character is sweet and caramely.
M - Medium bodied with mild carbonation and a syrupy texture. Crisp finish with slight bitterness and tartness on the palate. Mouthfeel is a bit bristly overall.
D - Pretty good, albeit one-dimensional, fruit ale. Refreshing and easy to drink, though.
