Clear, deep amber, thin off-white head, no real retention or lace
Smells like pumpernickel and molasses
Tastes like rye bread, molasses, and raisins
Thin but sticky sweet, good carbonation
Not sure what kvass is supposed to taste like, but I kinda figured it would be rye bread soda, which is what this tastes like. Not my thing, but I suppose it's stylistically correct

Originally had this back in March of 2018, checked in to Untappd but didn’t realize it would be on here. An interesting style though, very malt-heavy and sweet; distinctly bready throughout. Sticky finish. ура!

Look Light brownish not the usual dark almost black color that is associated with this style of drink.
Smell: faint hint of rye
Taste: It was sweeter than I thought it was going to be with a subdued rye flavoring.
Feel: It was heavy on the tongue, left my mouth feeling coated in sugar and syrup.
I wasn't impressed with this at all. There are much better versions on the market if you see this one simply skip it.

Pours a very light watery brown color. Like it looks like brown tinged water. Fizzy soda like white head dissipates quickly leaves no residual head.

Aroma is rather subdued. Some light watery bready notes with a slight hint of vanilla.

Taste has notes of bread and Coca Cola. Watery. Incredibly sweet.

Feel is light, watery, under carbonated.

Overall this is one of the most unpleasant things I have ever drank ... even for Kvass.

16.9 oz can best by 09 FEB 2019 poured into an Imperial pint glass shows a clouded dark amber body and floats a persistent cap of wispy off-white foam.

Aroma is sweet bready raisins with a touch of rye.

Flavor is soda pop sweet rye bread and carmelly raisins.

Mouthfeel leans a lighter medium with some carbonation and a clean finish.

Overall, its not in my first 1000 choices of beverage; somewhere behind coffee, and I hate coffee.

I purchased a bottle of Gubernija Khlebny Kvass for $1.99USD in Los Angeles, CA/USA. Gubernija Khlebny Kvass has a light raisin bread flavour with a slight sour aftertaste. Gubernija Khlebny Kvass is a kvass with a sweet taste similar to a soda. The carbonation is average in the beginning, yet the carbonation soon disappears. People who can drink a kvass fast and seek sweet drinks will enjoy Gubernija Khlebny Kvass.

One of the few glass bottled Kvass' i've seen. Purchased at Old Vilnius Cafe in Darien, IL.
Label claims "Kvass Without Sweetness" several times, yet sugar is the 3rd ingredient, and there's 20g of sugar in the nutritional facts.

Poured into a tulip glass with a thin layer of tan foam, spotty lace arounds the edges. Clear reddish brown color, a little lighter than most, seemingly.

Aroma was mild, vague rye bread and raisin, not overly sweet.

Taste was fairly sweet, raisin and rye bread again, though not as sweet as some other commercial Kvas, and cleaner than the homemade stuff we had earlier in the day. Well carbonated and fairly fizzy like soda. Overall a refreshing palate cleanser at a beer tasting, but not a unique kvass in the scheme of things.

Poured from 500mL bottle into a pint glass. Best-by date is 5/8/2013.

Appearance: medium brown hue with a touch of haze and a good effervescence. Head poured a thin finger of frothy tan foam and quickly dissipated. A bit lighter than many kvasses, but not bad. Also, there is a nice lace on the glass that really adds something.

Smell: redolent of raisin bread. For a kvass, it's not bad at all.

Taste: bready and quite sweet; it's even more raisiny than other kvasses I've tasted. Not bad, but perhaps not my favorite.

Mouthfeel: light body with a decent carbonation; refreshingly tingly.

Overall: it's a bit on the sweet side (though the label makes a point of saying "without sweetners"), but overall it's a drinkable and satisfying kvass.

Kvass! Kvass!
This kvass pours a light ruddy brown color with no foam. It has a low aroma. Surprisingly, however, it’s very effervescent with some raisin notes and a funky rye-ness quality to its flavor.
It finishes sweet with a nice rounded flavor. Although it’s bottled it tastes fresher than I had expected it to and has a consistent sweetness to it just shy of a soda pop. My second kvass.
