Smell is overwhelmingly of rum with a sweetness to it. Expectation was that it'd taste like straight rum from the smell but I get rum at first mellowed out quickly by a caramel flavor. No aftertaste other than a slight caramel sweetness. Feels a bit thick but the balance of rum and caramel makes this a more enjoyable beer than expected.
