Poured a brown body with minimal head and lace. Aroma has notes of malts and dark fruits like caramel, toffee and something akin to figs and dates (not raisin/prune territory). Smooth and medium bodied, the beer balances dry, citric hops with sweetness coming from caramel, toffee and figs and finishes dry with a bit of breadiness (odd to get this filling sensation on finish). ABV well-hidden and this beer won't wow anyone but it's pretty good.

This beer was a lot darker than I expected and almost smelled and tasted like it was bourbon barrel aged. However, it was delicious and complex with nice dark fruit flavors.
