Def not my fav style, but I wanted to at least try it and keep an open mind. Best by 9/10/19
Pours a larger foamy bubbly slight creamy head with medium to lower retention, a little lacing, hazy but not cloudy golden tan color
nose dank tropical hops, little musty, guava, a little passion fruit, pineapple, stone fruit apricot like, some lactose, light malt
Taste juicy fruit, big apricot and stone fruit, then dank tropical again with pineapple and guava mostly, some citrus mango orange like, a little sweet up front, with light malt, creamy lactose, maybe a little wheat or oats as well, little pithy, with medium to lighter hop bitterness turning a little spicy later, drier finish, lingering medium hop bitterness and lingering citrus zest, mild dank tropical
Mouth is med bod, creamy and a little juicy, carb is a bit lighter
Overall not bad, still not a style I enjoy much, but this wasn't too bad, bitterness adds a nice touch which is different than most NEIPAs, good apricot and stone fruit, nice tropical notes, don't quite enjoy the lactose, and carbonation is a bit lower, but otherwise nice
