Look..pale yellow haze. Almost looks like one of them pilsener type beers with a white fizzy head
Smell... faint citrus with hint of hops, lime, grapefruit.
Taste...Citrus right off the bat, then prickly lime zest sour, grapefruit sour into a souring zest dryness. I did notice that the lemony notes lessened as the beer warmed. a light refreshing beer
Feel...ample carbonation that make s the mouth pucker a bit with sourness. I do not mind the sour just did not expect those notes to be so prevalent. Sometimes expectations can surprise you. Let's face it surprises are more often
negative than positive haha
Overall...I got this beer thinking to cut some cals. I have been drinking to low alcohol beers from Athletic solely to cut carbs and cals but. not to shed alcohol. A lot of the Athletic beers are cool on the cals but not on the carbs. Like Free Wave from them has more carbs than a Bud. Been meaning to try Lite from Night Shift Brewing but what i saw on the shelves was so Godamned old, not three months like 11 months, No thanks to bad shelving practice. Total Wine

Looks like a brut; slightly dull maize color with lighter corn yellow toward the bottom. Cloudy appearance except for the bottom 1” which is translucent.

Smells like passion fruit with a hint of lemon, yuzu and hop bitterness.

Tastes okay; kind of bitter, kind of tart. Resembles Dogfish Head’s lo-cal offering. Refreshing and crisp.

Feels crisp and slightly tart (citric acid?). Very thin body.

Overall, it’s not bad for what it is: a low calorie lawnmower beer. I wanted Heavy Seas to show up to this dance with a fresh offering but Drink Lo-Cal is indistinguishable from peer options.
