16 ounce draft pour into a tulip pint at the brewery.
L: Dark brown pour, tan one finger head, foam dissipates inside of a minute but the pour is lively enough to keep a collar.
S: Opening earthy aromas of decomposing fungus aren’t so good, chocolate malt and some roast with light hop aroma pick up about halfway through the glass.
T: Roasty and sharp with assertive bitterness, hints of nut, earthy/woody hops, hints of citrus peel on the back.
F: Medium body, high carbonation, neutral feel overall, kind of smooth, a little crisp, with a small finishing bite.
O: Decent except for the early off (to me) aroma.
