Poured chilled at home in tall ale glass

A: dark straw, light amber; decent head; very good carbonation
S: light straw aroma
T: flavorful; good hop profile--wood, straw, dry flavor; amber crystal malt is the backbone

This is quite a good lager; very flavorful, solid, and fitting for everyday consumption.

12oz can poured into pint glass.

Pours golden straw in color with a thick 2 finger just off white head. Got your bread malts in the aroma, along with some corn and a every so slight citrus note. The taste is exactly what you would get with any solid lager. It is a little creamier up front and also a little bitter on the back end. I really have no complaints with this one. I got it on the cheap too, which is always a plus. It's just a solid easy drinking beer.

** I originally reviewed this on 7/8/13, but on their retired Cream Ale with the same exact name.
I just deleted that one and copied and pasted.

12oz can poured into a pint glass. Pours a bright pale golden with a slight haze; fluffy eggshell white head that slowly fades and leaves nice lacing and retention. The aromas are full of sweet malts and sweet corn. Smells like your typical lager to be honest, but in a good way. The flavors are very earthy and rustic. Lots of grass and grains. This one has a subtle hop bite to it. It's slightly sweet. There's also has a subtle spiciness going on. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is slick, but light; moderate carbonation. Very crisp and refreshing. Easy to drink.

This is a good lager. It's not flashy, but it's enjoyable and does what it's supposed to do. Well done.
