Purchased this as a 33 cl bottle at a French Cora market. Where to begin..a surprise fromt he start, almost not fitting into any of the categories here. So many of the northern French bieres just trying so hard to be Belgian.... A spicy, fruity, malty bouquet, almost hitting some of the notes of the strong French cidres or a Belgian witbier. Murky amber poured into a goblet, faint head and minimal carbonation, almost oily sheen on top. Gingerbread, cinnamon? Difficult to pin this one down...a delicious surprise, but definitely a sipper.
