Bottle at The Three Judges, Glasgow. ABV is 3.4%. Amber colour, decent head. Moderate aroma of cellar, dust and caramel. Thin mouthfeel. The flavour has toffee and biscuits, with barely acceptable hops in the finish.

not bad, but the malt character is my least favourite. very personal opinion

Trying to do a micro-review of every brewer. Turns out Whitbread is a macro-hospitality company. Its Premier Inn is the largest chain in Britain. Plus it does much of the "good guy" stuff of sustainability and good employee relations. So maybe I should visit one of their Inns this Autumn and find one of their beers again.
