Dang it, I need to check for posted pictures before I toss the bottle. This one comes from a bomber poured lovingly into a tulip glass. Dark amber color beneath a decent head. Tart nose, raspberries are definitely apparent. Red wine? Maybe. Whiskey? Doubtful. In the mouth, that familiar sweet tart sour flavor. Again with raspberries. Mouth is middle-of-the-road carbonated. This paired with 6.2% ABV enhances drinkability. Very good overall. Sour/Brett ale isn’t really my thing but this is a great representation of style. Would try again.

750 ml bottle into a tulip glass. Bottled early 2016?, had 12/8/18.

Pours a cloudy, ruddy amber with a one inch foamy head and some foamy lacing. Aroma is raspberries, lightly tart and sour, red wine, malt, brett, a little funk, light cherries and black pepper. The taste is raspberries, malt, some red wine, a decent amount of sourness up front, brett, a little oak and tartness, some funk, light cherries. Smooth, a good medium body, dry, well carbonated.

Raspberries dominate, the red wine barrels are a solid compliment. Great aroma and flavor. Gets better as you work through the bottle. Did not pick up the whiskey component of the barrels, though. Very enjoyable.

From batch number 2. Pours a deep muddy murky brown, the one finger light brown head fades immediately. No real lace.

Aroma is good fruity raspberries, on a malt base that is lightly sweet under all the brett tartness. Some dry hints with venous notes for the barrels.

Taste like the nose, tart raspberries lots of brett notes. Malt notes have honey and some earthy notes. The earthy notes mingle with venous notes from the barrel. Little dry notes from the barrel

Mouthfeel is light medium even though it looks heavier. Carbonation has some pep at the start but mellows by the finish.

Overall not a bad wild ale, the red wine barrels add to the flavor.
